Oil magnate Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah hands club N100m transfer kitty


In his attempt to make FC IfeanyiUbah the most formidable club in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), club owner Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has earmarked N100m for recruiting new players during the second stanza transfer window.
Making this known on Sunday during the halftime break of their 2-0 home win over Niger Tornadoes in a Match Day 19 tie, Ubah disclosed that he would like his club to compete with the very best in the land and so he has deemed it necessary to inject N100m into the team for the transfer of the best players in the league to fortify the team ahead of the start of the second stanza.

“I want the best for this club. So in that respect, we are giving the club management this token of N100m for acquisition of players in the next transfer window. We want the club to return to the first position, now the staff knows what to do, the Nnewi people want the league, and so we are watching,” Ubah was quoted press release.
 Ubah added that he had learnt his lessons from the stadium ban punishment which he served and that he used the period of his stadium ban to reflect on what he should do and should not as a role model and an ambassador of the league.
The oil magnate also made a donation of N150m towards the development of the Anambra Football Association where he emerged as chairman recently
Reacting to the transfer budget announcement, club chairman Chukwuma Ubah was well pleased with the cash and described himself as irresistible to players in the league over the pronouncement of the club’s president.

Ubah junior also used the medium to announce that the Anambra Warriors are in partnership with four Chinese clubs including Guangzhou Evergrande and that in no distant time the general public will begin to see the benefits of the partnership.
