EBOLA SCARE! P-Square reportedly denied visa to perform at sold-out concert in Namibia

Popular Nigerian Afro-pop duo, P-square have reportedly been denied visas into Namibia for a forthcoming concert. The disappointment came as a result of the country’s immigration office allegedly refusing to grant the popular twins visas due to the Ebola scare that has rocked African countries in recent times. PSquare was billed to perform at a grand musical show organized by the Namibian Breweries Limited at Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek on Saturday Sept.28, with VIP tickets already sold-out. The concert was also set to kick off the group’s “Double Trouble” tour.Continue...
But following the country’s strict border laws disallowing people from Ebola-infected nations into Namibia, Psquare might not be able to get on with their high-profile event on time. According to starafrica.com, the Nigerian High Commissioner to Namibia, Biodun Nathaniel Olorufemi has confirmed to Namibian Sun on Wednesday that the P-Square’s visa application to travel to Namibia was rejected by the country’s High Commission in Nigeria. To make matters even worse, the Home Affairs Permanent Secretary Patrick Nandago reiterated government’s policy that people from Ebola stricken countries are not allowed to enter the country, until further notice
