Man who was mistakenly pronounced dead starts breathing and moves on the way to morgue

46 year old Wisconsin man, Thomas Sancomb collapsed at end of his bed at his Milwaukee apartment was pronounced dead by paramedics.
His body was cold to touch and rigid and there was no attempt to resuscitate him.
Sancomb was pronounced dead at 2.10pm at the apartment, forensic investigator Genevieve Penn wrote in a report.

Penn then called Sancomb's brother, John Sancomb, to inform him of the death and an autopsy to determine the cause of death was requested.

50 Cent sues Rick Ross for leaking his Baby Mama's sex tape


50 cents baby Mama, Lastonia Leviston sued 50 cent claiming she was so distraught after he posted the video of her sex tape online to the public and has even contemplated suicide.

Leviston claims in her lawsuit that the guy in her sex tape gave the video to 50 who then posted it online because it would embarrass Rick Ross.


However, 50 has turned around and filed a lawsuit  against Rick Ross claiming he leaked the sex tape which now has millions of views.

He arrived at the conclusion that Rick leaked it because Rick did an interview with a radio station the day before the video was posted in which he said he was going to put the sex tape online.

A married couple, immigrants Peter and Joan Petrasek, from Seattle, who had no known relatives left all of their money and assets to "the government of the United States.

Peter Petrasek was born in the 1920s in what was then Czechoslovakia, and would have been 12 when the Nazis invaded.
Details about his early life are scarce, but at some point during World War II he was placed into a youth camp run by the German air force, according to The Seattle Times but applied for immigration status in the US and was granted. His sister and parents all died during the Nazi invasion.

Grant amnesty to Boko Haram, Northern elders ask Buhari


Prominent northerners including the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Mohammed Uwais and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe and former Nigerian Ambassador to the United Nations, Ibrahim Gambari have asked the President -elect, General Muhammadu Buhari to declare amnesty for Boko Haram insurgents when he takes over power on May 29.

They also asked Buhari to give priority attention to the special economic programmes for the North East geopolitical zone which had been ravaged by the Boko Haram terrorists, just as they warned against the scrapping of the on-going amnesty programme for ex-militants in the Niger Delta region

14 year old girl sentenced to 40 years for drowning baby


A 14-year-old Dallas girl who drowned a 2 month old baby out of jealousy was sentenced by a juvenile court judge on Friday to 40 years in custody, the maximum punishment available, after admitting to drowning the infant in January, court officials said. 

The teenager will begin serving her sentence in state custody of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. A judge will determine whether she is eligible for parole before her 19th birthday or should be transferred to an adult prison.

Akon Launches Academy To Help Provide Electricity To 600 Million People In Africa


 Senegalese-American singer Akon, whose Akon Lighting Africa initiative aims to bring electricity to some of the 600 million Africans who lack it, announced on Thursday the launch of a new "Solar Academy" for the continent.

The institution, scheduled to open this summer in Bamako, Mali's capital, will try to give African engineers and entrepreneurs the skills needed to develop solar power. European experts will help supply training equipment and programs.

Wikipedia meaning: "A love lock is a padlock which lovers lock to a bridge, gate, or a similar public fixture to symbolize their love. Katy Perry says ex Russell Brand hasn’t spoken to her since he texted her to say he was filing for divorce


How can you send a text to your wife of over a year to tell her you're filing for a divorce? She didn't deserve a call or a sit-down to talk? That's what Russell Brand did to Katy Perry and she says he hasn't spoken to her once since he sent that text to her back in 2013.

Speaking to Australia's Daily Telegraph today, Katy said "He hasn’t spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce."

People first found out Russell asked for divorce by text message when Katy referenced the incident in a song called Ghost which features the line: "You sent a text /It’s like the wind changed your mind"

LG invented a crazy, bendable TV that sticks to your wall like a refrigerator magnet


LG wants to make mounting your TV just as easy as sticking a magnet onto your refrigerator.
At an event earlier this week, the South Korean electronics giant showcased an incredibly thin 55-inch television with a flexible screen that you can press onto your wall using magnets.
It's just a concept, though — there's no indication when or if a product like this will actually come to market. The purpose of the announcement was really to announce LG's plans to focus on making OLED screens for products moving forward. 
The TV screen itself is less than a millimeter thick, according to CNET. For context, that's about the same thickness as a paper clip. As shown in the image below, a magnetic pad holds the flexible TV screen up to the wall.
The TV itself almost looks like paper.

FG Designates MedView to London, Other Routes


The federal government has designated one of the nation’s major operators, MedView Airline to the Lagos-London route in addition to nine other international destinations.
The objective is to encourage domestic carriers to build capacity and compete on international destinations in order to erode the market which over 94 per cent is controlled by foreign carriers.
The route is a lucrative one which has for decades been dominated by British Airways which with Virgin Atlantic fly directly from Lagos to London, before Arik started operating about six years with appreciable high load factor.
The approval was contained in a letter addressed to the airline management dated April 23rd, 2015 by the Ministry of Aviation.

FCTA Begins Online Tracking of Buildings in Abuja

The Federal Capita Territory Administration (FCTA), through the Department of Development Control (DDC) has begun the process of tracking online all on-going building developments in the FCT.
The FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed stated this at the launching the scheme in Abuja, where he directed that all land related departments in the FCT must work together to further reduce business time of developers.
Mohammed said  the scheme, which is known as Development Control Information System (DevCIS) and Mobile App for an on-line transfer of Site Assessment Reports (SAR) is to ensure total computerisation of all the Development Control activities.

PDP BoT Meets Monday for Anenih's Replacement


The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet on Monday to discuss the modalities ‎for replacement of Chief Tony Anenih who resigned as chairman of the board two days ago.
This is coming as former National Administrative Secretary of PDP, Alhaji Habu Fari has declared interest to replace Adamu Mu'azu as the next national chairman of the party. He is from Taraba state.
According to a statement by the Secretary of PDP BoT, the meeting is expected to hold Monday May 25 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja at 8pm.

Two criminals, Banji Adedayo(40) and Tope Daramola (45) who escaped prison during the Ekiti-state jail break in December 2014 have been re-arrested by the Ondo state police command for armed robbery. Parading the men alongside other criminals before newsmen today, the Ondo state police Commissioner, Isaac Eke, said the suspects, after escaping from prison, joined a five man armed robbery gang that have been terrorizing Akure since March this year. Miss Vivian Adaeze Nnamani, who represented the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has emerged as Miss United Nations (Nigeria) while Miss Kessy Isong, representing Akwa Ibom state, emerged as her first runner up. The event was held last Saturday at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. 

There were five categories. Madueke Jaclyn emerged Miss Teen, Nigeria, United Nations; Kessy Isong was Miss Tourism Nigeria, United Nations; Tubosoye C. Dokubo, emerged Miss MS (Single Mum) United Nations; and the Mrs Nigeria, United Nations is Emem Chukwu Ebelechukwu.

Humanitarian crisis in the North East Nigeria is the third largest in the world - Red Cross


The President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer paid a visit to North East Nigeria to have a first hand experience of the humanitarian crisis created by Boko Haram in the region. At a press conference he had today May 22nd as he rounded off his visit to Nigeria, Mr Maurer submitted that the Humanitarian crisis over there is the third largest in the world. How sad.

Muslim youths burn Kano court to protest blasphemous comments


Rampaging Muslim youths today May 22nd reportedly burnt a Sharia court located at Rijiyar Lemo area of Kano, Kano state this morning over a 'blasphemous comments' an Imam, Abdul Nyass, a sect member of Tijjaniyya, a Muslim sect group made against Prophet Muhammed during one of his sermons at Goron Dutse General area of Kano metropolis last week.

The aggrieved youths in company of old Muslim Men and Women marched towards Mandawari and Dandago area, and later to the palace of the Emir of Kano to lay their complaints.
